MULTIDYNE INTRODUCES THE “POV CAMERA FIBER LINK” – HD-3200 HD VIDEO, CAMERA & POV CONTROL ALL OVER A SINGLE FIBER

LOCUST VALLEY, N.Y., March 15, 2011 – MultiDyne Video & Fiber Optic Systems, a premier provider of fiber optic video, audio and data transport as well as routing solutions for broadcast and pro A/V applications, introduces the HD-3200; a 3G HD camera link with camera control and POV control, fiber transport system. This single fiber solution provides two-channel data and tally along with the HD-SDI video.

The HD-3200 may be used as a stand-alone device or rack-mounted in a 1RU panel. This unit incorporates cable equalization for the HD feed and provides a re-clocked, loop-through output at the transmitter. The HD-3200 receiver features dual re-clocked outputs, eliminating the need for an external HD D/A. The multi-rate SDI stream supports 19.4Mb, 270Mb, 1.5 GB and 3G for 720P, 1080i & 1080P production. Embedded audio and data passes right along with the video.

Battery or AC operation with the standard accessory power supply provided with each unit makes the HD-3200 an easy solution to install in the field. For camera operators requiring PL intercom, GPI and multiple channels of program audio, the MultiDyne HD-3500 single fiber link is ideal.
